Abstract

In June 2024, Luwuk's year on year (y-on-y) inflation was 3.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.93.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to rising prices indicated by the increase in all expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 2.35 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 3.25 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 2.68 percent; the household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance group by 2.67 percent; the health group by 2.38 percent; the transportation group by 3.77 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.14 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 6.19 percent; the education group by 0.17 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 7.11 percent; and the personal care and other services group by 3.95 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Luwuk in June 2024 were 0.29 percent and 1.87 percent respectively.
