September 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Luwuk was 2.72 percent.

Abstract

In September 2024, Luwuk experienced year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation of 2.72 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.55.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverages and tobacco group by 1.28 percent; clothing and footwear group by 3.32 percent; housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 3.57 percent; household equipment, tools and routine maintenance group by 3.17 percent; health group by 3.35 percent; transportation group by 2.71 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group by 6.92 percent; education group by 2.91 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 6.07 percent; and personal care and other services group by 4.62 percent. Meanwhile, the information, communication, and financial services group experienced a decrease in index by 0.02 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Luwuk in September 2024 were 0.08 percent and 2.45 percent, respectively.
