Abstract

In December 2023, Luwuk City's y-on-y inflation was recorded at 4.35 percent with a Consumer Price Index of 122.58. The highest y-on-y inflation occurred in Sumenep City at 5.08 percent with a CPI of 120.82 and the lowest occurred in Bandung City at 0.63 percent with a CPI of 116.16.

Luwuk city inflation was 4.35 percent which was influenced by an increase in the price index for most expenditure groups, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group (7.64 percent); food and beverage/restaurant provision group (5.07 percent); recreation, sports and culture groups (4.03 percent); housing, water, electricity and household fuel group (3.40 percent); personal care and other services group (3.20 percent); equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group (3.05 percent); transportation group (2.46 percent); health group (0.74 percent); clothing and footwear group (0.65 percent); education group (0.56 percent); and the information, communication and financial services group (0.15 percent).

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate for December 2023 is 0.59 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for December 2023 is 4.35 percent.
